The company responds to the Smart City challenge by creating an AI cloud service platform where cities, citizens, and businesses can jointly innovate, interact, and design valuable data for a better living environment.

Their platform contains engagement-driven applications and third-party APIs that processes business intelligence for better interaction and decision making. They serve multiple players in the smart city ecosystem with their business level-access licenses and big data. 

Requirements

You will need to:

  • Manage the Product/development team
  • Represent the technological agenda in staff meetings and when making hiring decisions
  • Maintain current knowledge of technology landscape and developments
  • Consolidate our technology platforms and create plans for each
  • Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics
  • Identify new areas of digital marketing opportunities and create plans to implement them for
  • us and our clients
  • Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity
  • Spearhead IT projects to increase our market reach and improve our USP
  • Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture.
Our ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Understands Querying Language such as (NoSQL, Hive, Pig).
  • Has skills in scripting language like Javascript (React.js), Django (Python) framework,
  • NoSQL and SQL databases and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience with Git, Bower, NodeJS.
  • Java and basic knowledge of statistics and of Machine Learning and AI is a plus.
  • Is able to think strategically.
  • Has more than 3 years of experience in a Full-stack role or a CTO role.
  • Has strong communication skills
