Our client is building the first digital platform for timber trading between Europe and Asia. Driven by the long-overdue digitization of the wood industry, they are excited about its new potential. As a team of entrepreneurs, purchasing experts, sales and process enthusiasts, they combine functional expertise with a digital background. Fascinated by the multitude of sustainable use cases of timber, they are taking this legacy industry into the 21st century. Right now, they are looking for an ambitious Python Developer to join their team. You will be maintaining and developing the platform, shape the tech stack, develop additional microservices for internal automation. NOTE: Ideally the client is looking for someone living in Berlin or around (or willing to relocate) in order to visit the office at least 2 times a week. But also willing to consider candidates from the EU and CIS. A fully-remote opportunity might be discussed with exceptional candidates.
