Description
Nosto was founded in 2011 and created an AI-powered Segmentation and Content Personalization E-commerce Intelligence Engine. They use Redshift, Kinesis, S3, Redis, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Mongo, and more for the backend services that make thousands of complex, real-time decisions per second possible. Right now, Nosto is looking for a Data Engineer.
Tasks: You will build out the infrastructure for serving billions of recommendations, generating insights used by thousands of retailers and some of the best brands over the globe. You'll be a key contributor to the big-data processing pipelines built on Spark with Scala/Java that are hosted in AWS.

Must-have skills:
- Hands-on experience with Scala and Java
- Experience Spark, EMR, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Redis (if you don't have experience with some, but open to learning, can be considered as well)
- Deep understanding of how to process terabytes of data through highly performant pipelines.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Contribution to open-source projects is a plus
