For this position, we are willing to consider candidates starting from entry-level to more experienced ones. Our client is a graphics software technology company founded in 2007 in Helsinki. The company specializes in occlusion culling, visibility solution technology and provides middleware for video games running on Windows, Linux, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, handheld consoles, iOS, Wii U and other platforms.The company's occlusion culling is the secret behind the 3D rendering performance for many of the biggest blockbuster and AAA video games.As a Junior Graphics Developer, you will get a chance to work side by side with professional developers and learn from the best practices. Besides, you will closely communicate with the customers and most of them are the largest players in the gaming industry.
NOTE: First of all the client is interested in local candidates from Finland. Must have skills:
- 1+ years of experience (university projects, internships or hobby projects also count)
- Experience with C++
- Experience with 3D graphics programming (hobby projects, university projects or real work experience)
- Understanding of how game engines work (hobby projects, university projects or real work experience)
- Proficient level of English
