Senior Backend Developer

RA brand new, multi-tenant B2B service platform for monitoring millions of smart thermostats in a lean and result-oriented way.

Tasks:
  • Developing necessary interfaces and changes together with the SW & HW teams and setting up the production flow
  • Establish continuous compatibility of the firmware SW stack with the manufacturing counterpart by developing automated checks
  • Ensuring continuous production flow through the 30+ fully remote administrable test stations (FT, EOL) deployed at contract manufacturing partners
  • Rapidly and continuously improving the current production processes analyzing the extensive data gathered by deployed test stations
  • Scaling the Python-based production software framework to the next level
  • Collaborating with the contract manufacturing partner’s on-site Production Engineers to establish new processes and to scale production including automation of workflows and deployments
  • Collaborating with both Embedded Firmware and Hardware Engineers to increase reliability and coverage for tests and to develop new ways of integration
  • Analyzing and presenting engineering tradeoffs to other stakeholders within the company (eg. Supply Chain Management, Product Development Teams, ...)
Must-have:
  • Solid knowledge of Python and C
  • General understanding of manufacturing processes for embedded systems, e.g ICT, FT, EOL
  • Advanced English
  • Ability to reach Munich lab if required

  • Experience with RF Technologies

Interview process:

  3. Technical discussion with the team lead (up to 1 hour)
  4. On-site interview (an experience day) and will have an interview with the team leader,  the team, a technical task  (up to 5 hours). Due to the COVID pandemic the  experience day may be remote

You can work remotely, but only within Germany, preferred in the South of Germany. From time to time, you would need to come to the office.
