Noxon prints biosensors like T-Shirt logos. We combine nano-based ink with mass printing processes to produce a new generation of medical and industrial sensors. Our sensor technology allows us to bring diagnostic measurement methods and remedial therapies into everyday life, making them portable, convenient, and wearable for longer periods of time. Our solution measures muscle activity to generate evidence-based information that leads to many improvements in areas such as rehabilitation, sports, and ergonomics. Specifically, our first product will be the smart leg sleeve “Silverskin” with that kind of printed biosensor technology integrated into a textile.

Until now, there has been a high risk of suffering long-term and irreparable damage after a knee joint injury, such as a cruciate ligament rupture. The most important factor for successful rehabilitation after knee injuries is the proper development of supporting muscles. By measuring and analyzing the muscle activity around the knee area, the Silverskin Sleeve enables patients after a knee joint injury to reach their original performance more quickly and safely.
