QA Automation Engineer

Insly delivers a scalable solution for C-Suite employees and underwriters looking to launch and distribute new products. Additional services like accounting, reporting, and claims management tools further enhance the platform's capabilities for streamlining and optimising insurance selling and admin processes.
Our client develops cloud-based insurance software for agents and brokers enabling them to manage sales from start to finish and administer all insurance policies. The tech solution is a SaaS modular platform customized for clients’ needs.Now they are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join their Tallinn team.
Here’s the to-do list:
  • Playing an active role in the Scrum team, communicating with all team members, product owners and 3rd parties
  • Creating, executing, and documenting detailed test strategies, test plans and test cases (manual and automated)
  • Documenting down defects in the defect tracking system and re-testing the subject
  • Improving the efficiency of the process while maintaining quality
Must have skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in automation testing
  • Understanding of common PHP and OOP patterns frequently used in automation testing (Singleton, Page Object, Page Factory, Data Provider, Steps)
  • Confident knowledge of GIT
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and/or MySQL is preferable
  • Good knowledge of the following tools: PHPStorm or similar IDE, Postman, Insomnia or other tool for testing API
  • The ability to accurately estimate task duration and meet schedules
  • Intermediate written and spoken English
Good to have skills:
  • 2+ year experience in Codeception (especially WebDriver, REST, Asserts)
  • Data Storage
  • Experience in creating testing framework or performance testing with the help of JMeter, Locust is a real advantage
  • Add additional point: Any Experience in TestRail, CI/CD(Jenkins), Docker, Linux will be useful as well
