Description
Our client is the next generation energy management tool. Using its mobile app, households will be able to get an overview of their energy consumption and personalized feedback on their energy behavior, all with minimum effort and with no additional hardware installation. The tool utilizes learning algorithms that track and analyze the households’ energy behaviors and then adapts accordingly. Through in-depth and targeted analysis, gamification and comparison with neighbors, the households will be incentivized and guided towards a decreased energy consumption. Over 90 000 households have already connected their electricity use since the launch in 2017 and the company is now growing at a rapid pace.
As an Android developer, you will be part of the team responsible for the development of the Android application with new user-facing features. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining an architecture that is scalable. Together with the team, you will be responsible for making decisions regarding new technologies being used.
Must have skills:
- 2+ years as an Android developer
- 1+ years working with Kotlin
- Knowledge of Git best practices such as GitFlow
- RESTful APIs
- Understanding of Agile principles
- Effective communication skills
- Fluency in English
Good to have skills:
- Experience with the MPAndroidChart library
- Experience with the AndroidX package
