As the established gaming industry standard in graphics optimization for more than a decade, this company is now redefining rapid visualization for all industry ecosystems utilizing complex 3D models.
The company works with the very foundations of real-time 3D graphics, the representation of the geometry itself, and is building a set of tools that enable displaying arbitrarily large 3D data sets on any platform. The processing of these huge models is performed using our distributed computation architecture, automatically scaling up to as many instances as desired. Already today, their product handles multi-terabyte point clouds as input and renders them 60 frames per second on smartphones (e.g. iPhone 6S) and modern web browsers.
As an Engineering Director, you will be managing their seasoned and ultra-talented team of 15 developers. You will report directly to the CEO and work together with product management to define what the team is building at any given time. They expect you to be an experienced people manager, but you will also need to be prepared to occasionally roll up your sleeves and put in some light programming, for example by fixing bugs, improving the build system or writing critical tests, to help the team to succeed.
