Description
Our client develops cloud-based insurance software for agents and brokers enabling them to manage sales from start to finish and administer all insurance policies. The tech solution is a SaaS modular platform customized for clients’ needs.Now they are looking for a QA Team Lead to join their Tallinn team.
Here’s the to-do list:
- Being able to design the QA department on your own - improve the company's existing automation tests, motivate, mentor, and set a vision for the QA team
- Playing an active role in the Scrum team, communicating with all team members, product owners and 3rd parties
- Creating, executing, and documenting detailed test strategies, test plans and test cases (manual and automated)
- Documenting down defects in the defect tracking system and re-testing the subject
- Improving the efficiency of the process while maintaining quality
Must have skills:
- A startup mindset or previous experience in a startup company
- Experience in manual (web and mobile applications), automation (API testing, Selenium) and UI automation testing (Selenium)
- 2+ year experience in Codeception (especially WebDriver, REST, Asserts)
- The ability to be a role model and motivator for the QA team members
- 3+ years of experience in automation testing
- 1+ years of experience with PHP
- 2+ years of experience with Docker, Jenkins, Git, PHPExcel, Jenkins, PHPStorm, Postman
- Basic knowledge of MySQL and related tools (MySQL Workbanch, HeidiSQL, etc)
- The ability to accurately estimate task duration and meet schedules
- Intermediate written and spoken English
Good to have skills:
- Understanding of common PHP and OOP patterns (Singleton, Element Object, Page Object, Page Factory, Chain of invocations, Value Object, Data Provider, Behavior Specification, Steps)
- Understanding of common web development: HTTP fundamentals (verbs, cookies, status codes), HttpContext, Request, response, Data Storag3e (Session, Cache), Work with forms and AJAX requests, Caching, Authorisation
- Good knowledge of Java or C# is a real advantage
