Frontend Developer

Vienna, Austria
Taurob develops and offers fully autonomous ground robots for routine operations and inspection on industrial sites. Their robots can perform missions under harsh environmental conditions (e.g. rain, cold, explosive gas) and gather video, audio, and sensor data. This data is transmitted in real-time to the cloud where it is further analyzed and processed (e.g. detection of gas leaks or corrosion degradation).
Tasks:
  • Design, implementation and maintainance of the UX/UI code of cloud fleet management solution, communicating with different robot fleets all over the world
  • Focus on usability and visualization, to allow seamless steering of our robots remotely
  • Working closely with other team members on product innovation and troubleshooting
  • Providing support in preparation of product demonstrations and proofs-of-concept
  • Automated testing and documentation of your code in the CI/CD pipeline
Must-have:
  • 3+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably in industrial environment
  • Knowledge and experience with Javascript (esp. NodeJS and React frameworks) / HTML / CSS / Web Front-end technologies
  • Professional experience with 3D graphics engines (Unity, WebGL) and immersive UI's (e.g. videogame UI's) is important
  • Professional ability in the English language
  • Willingness and ability to learn
  • Independent and reliable way of working
  • Flexibility and excellent team-working ability
Nice-to-have:
  • Academic background in computer science 
  • Knowledge and experience with technologies like Docker / Kubernetes / OAuth2 / Networking and Cloud computing is highly valued
  • Experience with Git and the Linux OS is an advantage
  • Team players, ability to work under pleasure
