Product Owner

tset is an innovative company on the intersection of the highly-competitive automotive industry and modern software development. Their applications help the industry improve its cost-efficiency. Through the use of data science, mathematics and computational geometry they reshape product costing, purchasing and engineering.
Now the company is looking for a Product Owner to launch new product features and test their performance.

As a startup with strong industry partnerships, they offer the modern stack of a young company combined with the product-market fit of an established player. They have clear engineering goals for which they need smart, self-driven people who are looking for ways to challenge themselves and reshape the manufacturing industry.

  • Actively shape the company TRACK product and take ownership of the complete application
  • Work closely with our developers as well as our sales team in order to deliver new features from idea to production
  • Collaborate with our business partners to understand their requirements and expectations for our product
  • Define user stories and epics that are precise so they can be easily implemented by the developers
  • Deep-dive to understand the market, product line and competition of our product
  • Anticipate and monitor potential product flaws and find the right solutions
Must-have skills:
  • 3 years as a Product Owner or comparable position preferably for a B2B web-based software product
  • 2 years of Software development background
  • Time and project management skills to oversee development progress end to end
  • Understanding of data-driven product management and having a clear customer focus
  • Business English (C1 level)
Nice-to-have skills:
  • Clear communication and presentation skills are expected - explaining complex topics in simple, clear terms is your second nature
  • The German language is a big plus

Interview Process:
  • Intro call with Toughbyte
  • Initial Interview - 15 minutes with someone from the team (BE, FE, CTO, HR)
  • Technical interview - 30 minutes with the hiring manager
  • Challenge - 3 hours for the task
  • On-site final interview - 1 hour with the management team + hiring manager
