Description
Tasks
- Take over full ownership of developing new user-facing features and building admin interfaces for custom services
- Extend and customize our Shopify theme used on 10+ stores
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, as well as optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with our back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
Must-have
- Degree in computer science, engineering or in a related field and 6+ years proven track of relevant work experience.
- Extensive experience in HTML/CSS/JS and CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS)
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery, React and Vue.js
- You are able to develop front end components according to a given design and make them pixel perfect as well as experience in responsive and adaptive design
- Deep understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
- Experience in developing single page applications (SPAs) and a proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
