Senior Frontend Developer

Tasks
  • Take over full ownership of developing new user-facing features and building admin interfaces for custom services
  • Extend and customize our Shopify theme used on 10+ stores
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, as well as optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Collaborate with our back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
Must-have
  • Degree in computer science, engineering or in a related field and 6+ years proven track of relevant work experience.
  • Extensive experience in HTML/CSS/JS and CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS)
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery, React and Vue.js
  • You are able to develop front end components according to a given design and make them pixel perfect as well as experience in responsive and adaptive design
  • Deep understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
  • Experience in developing single page applications (SPAs) and a proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
