The company advises on all matters from branding through to selling off with individual, digital solutions based on a 360° approach for location-based marketing of offers and branches. In addition to its headquarters in Dresden, other sites include Berlin, Essen, Vienna, Paris, Sofia, Budapest and Bucharest.
Currently, they are looking for a CTO who will be responsible for the IT Infrastructure, Data Integration, Content Backend and Web & App Development teams and for taking these teams to the next level strategically and operationally. 

 There are 2 possible locations: Sofia (Bulgaria) or Dresden (Germany).

NOTE: The client is willing to consider candidates from Sofia or Dresden.

  • Leadership and team growth. As a Leader, CTO will be responsible for almost 20 persons in 4 teams located in Berlin, Dresden and Sofia (travelling to Germany/ Bulgaria at least once per month).
  • Overview of responsibilities and plans of the tech areas and stand as a mediator in cross-team problem-solving issues at the front.
  • Shape the digital transformation of retail marketing: Bringing together the IT for three interesting and challenging areas B2B product, B2C product and Ad-Tech.
  • Develop the vision for our Tech division, designing strategic plans and executing them with the teams.
  • Drive the big picture of our software architecture.
    Work closely with our CPO.
Must-have skills:
  • 5+ years of leadership experience of multiple similar teams such as web, app or backend development;
  • Several years of professional experience in software architecture and/or software development with various technologies (web, apps or backend), ideally in a digital marketing environment.
  • Fluent English.
