Now Betsson Group is looking for an eager .NET Developer who will join their team building geo-distributed scalable payment solutions (hosted in AWS) that support a payments system that includes 100+ payment integrations worldwide:
Tasks:
Tasks:
- Write clean, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code following software development best practices and coding standards
- Optimise application performance and scalability through code optimizations, caching strategies, and database optimizations
- Develop and implement efficient and secure RESTful APIs and microservices to support client applications and integrations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and designers, to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Perform thorough testing and debugging of backend applications to ensure high quality and reliability
Must-have:
- 3+ years of experience in software development
- Excellent knowledge and experience in C#, .NET Framework
- Knowledge of NoSQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server databases
- Experience developing and implementing efficient and secure RESTful APIs and microservices
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns
- Understanding of software development best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users or identified through monitoring and logging systems
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience in languages such as Python, Go, Java, or similar
- Experience in the design and implementation of distributed systems that comprise multiple domain-oriented services
- Understanding of front-end development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Experience with some combined with a curiosity for others: Consul, Redis, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, gRPC, Orleans
