Senior Full-Stack PHP Developer

DreamApply is a student recruitment system for higher education institutions launched in 2011. DreamApply has revolutionised the way universities work with international applicants from interest to enrolment.
DreamApply is looking for an experienced PHP Full-Stack developer to join their team in Tallinn, onsite or remotely and help with their front-end modernization. The focus of the position is on the frontend part (around 70 % of tasks). 

Tasks:
  • Designing data exchange between the backend and the frontend components being developed
Must-have: 
  • At least 5 years of experience  in a relevant field
  • Experience in architecting web applications (and at least some of that experience in PHP) and complex backends
  • Good knowledge of PHP8 
  • Solid understanding of security and performance concerns
  • At least some understanding of modern frontend practices and tools
  • Lean development practices, user-centric thinking
  • Advanced level of English 
Nice-to-have: 
  • Knowledge of Slim framework
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of other foreign languages
  • International study or work experience
  • Being a team player, but also being able to work on your own initiative
