Description
Tasks:
- Design, build and maintain DevOps-specific tools
- Establish, maintain, and develop frameworks (test, deploy, build, etc.)
- Own, manage, tune, and continuously improve all monitoring applications
- Identify technical obstacles early
- Proactively work with life cycle management and outage prevention
- Handle emergency bug fixes
Must-have:
- Experience related to the infrastructure automation tools, Java ecosystem applications, and microservices architecture and concepts
- Experience building scalable and automated cloud platforms, preferably on AWS
- Sysadmin knowhow for debugging issues (app performance, disk, network, etc.)
- Good Linux knowledge
- Ability to execute a broad range of operational activities quickly and confidently
- Ability to adjust your communication, so information flows well and effectively both with engineers and not-so-technical business people
- Familiarity with one of the programming languages
- Good English skills, both verbal and written
Nice-to-have:
- Being familiar with one of the CI/CD tools (GitLab, Github actions, Jenkins)
- Know how Kubernetes works (have experience with cloud or/and on-premise installations)
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL preferable)
- Know how to work with monitoring/logging systems (Prometheus/ Grafana and ELK stack will be a plus)
- Being familiar with one of the Cloud solutions (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure cloud, AliCloud, etc)
