Description
Now they are looking for a Games Mathematician to develop and optimize the mathematical models that make their games a success.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Statistics (or equivalent experience)
- Prototyping skills using Unity, Construct, Flash, HTML/Javascript or similar
- Experience with C++ or similar to help develop simulations or more complicated math models
- A strong understanding and experience of probability theory
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to solve a variety of problems in an accurate and timely manner
- Must be self-directed and able to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment in order to meet multiple deadlines
- A passion for gambling or gaming and its surrounding theories and models
- Good knowledge of gaming products
- An advanced user of MS Excel, comfortable creating and adapting large and complex spreadsheets
- Solid interpersonal skills in dealing with individuals from a variety of disciplines
