Their robots have completed thousands of deliveries, travelled hundreds of thousands of miles, met millions of people and have been tested in over 80 cities around the world to date. Their robots drive autonomously but are monitored by humans. Launched in 2014, the company is changing the way parcels, groceries and food are delivered.

Description

Our client is building a fleet of robots designed to deliver goods locally in 15-45 minutes. Their robots have completed thousands of deliveries, travelled hundreds of thousands of miles, met millions of people and have been tested in over 80 cities around the world to date. Their robots drive autonomously but are monitored by humans who can take over control at any time. Launched in 2014, the company is changing the way parcels, groceries and food are delivered.
Their algorithms work in real-time and include all range of robotics problems, including perception, localisation, navigation and planning. In this role, you will develop new algorithms for supporting autonomous robots operation.
NOTE: The company is willing to consider candidates from the EU and CIS countries. 
Must have skills:
  • C++ (very strong skills)
  • Real-time algorithms (very important)
  • Must have experience of working on a complex project and playing a significant role in that project (not just support, testing etc.)
  • Great English skills
Good to have skills: 
  • Experience with autonomous driving products is a huge plus
  • Experience with robotics (for example, robot arms, industry machines etc
  • Python
  • Robot operating systems (ROS)
  • Experience with Navigation would be a plus
You will also help with:
  • Monitoring accuracy and reliability of deployed modules
  • Making data-driven decisions for new algorithms development
