Senior Java Developer

Telema is the leading EDI and e-invoicing operator in the Baltic States, offering IT solutions for automated data flow in supply chain processes. Telema transfers, converts, monitors and processes electronic trade documents such as orders, shipping notices and invoices.

There are over 1500 suppliers and 5500 shops in Telema network. Annually, more than 25 million documents are exchanged. Majority of clients are in the Baltic States, but Telema services support business information flow in around 70 countries globally.
Senior Java Developer will join the core development team to build Telema’s next-generation systems from the ground up.

Tasks:
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute ideas to shape the technical direction
  • Develop scalable Java applications using Spring Boot
  • Build and operate modern cloud-native solutions with AWS services
  • Collaborate with product owners and fellow developers in an agile environment
  • Mentor and assist other developers, promoting knowledge-sharing
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture
Must-have:
  • Ability to think independently and propose architectural improvements
  • 4+ years of experience in Java development, ideally with Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience with AWS 
  • Experience with different relational databases and messaging queues
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and a drive to work on complex systems
  • A team player who communicates well and supports others
  • Advanced English
