Senior Data Engineer

Remote or Espoo, Finland
The company's product is a data-driven platform that automatically analyzes knowledge work operations and identifies inefficiencies in systems, processes, tools, and ways of working. It recommends the best actions to remove hurdles from working and processes in real-time, ensuring that business operations and systems are optimized - all the time.
Tasks:
  • Be responsible for the Analytics part of the solution
  • Processing huge amounts of data
  • Participating in design and development phases
  • Finding new insights and studying different improvement paths
Must-have:
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant data-handling experience (5+ years development experience in general)
  • Experience with  HDInsight, Python, Spark, SQL
  • Experience with Data transformation and Big Data Pipelines
  • Fluent English
  • High information security mindset
  • Graduated in Computer Science or similar, or are a self-taught superstar
  • For remote candidates - experience working in a startup company and 3 years of experience working in 1 company
Nice-to-have:
  • Microsoft Automation API experience is a plus, as well as other APIs
  • SaaS product development, startup experience, or other interesting projects 
  • ML, NoSQL and Azure experience
