Agile Master Contractor

Please note that the project described below is a contractor role where work is usually done on an hourly basis. The duration of the project is also fixed. In order to work as a contractor, you typically need to have an individual entrepreneurship, limited liability company or invoice via a co-operative using a service for light entrepreneurship.

When you accept the project, we will sign a time and materials based subcontracting agreement between Toughbyte and your legal entity before you start work. We provide all the necessary help with arranging interviews and negotiations between you and the client, and will also going be the ones to send the invoices for your work.
The role initially focuses on the Agile Master position, supporting the team and the Product Owner to ensure that the backlog is up-to-date, work is prioritized, and operations are agile. Responsibilities include initiating and facilitating agile ceremonies, coaching the team on agile practices and continuous improvement culture, networking with stakeholders and managing dependencies through Jira practices, supporting and facilitating QPR planning within the team, managing Jira boards and views, planning and supporting Epic/story structures and Confluence documentation, and maintaining order in Confluence documentation. The role also involves requirement definition work. 

Requirements for this position include strong experience in requirement specification, especially in customer information and end-to-end solution development, the ability to produce specifications from a technical perspective for developing services between systems, experience in information management and defining good data management practices as part of the solution, and the ability to facilitate discussions between business and technical personnel using various techniques like user story mapping. Excellent communication, documentation skills, and proficiency in English and Finnish are essential, along with a self-directed, responsible, and proactive approach, stress resilience, professional demeanor, desire to develop the team with a coaching approach, good organizational and coordination skills, strong stakeholder skills, extensive experience with Jira and Confluence, and the ability to adapt to the team's nature, needs, and situations. A security clearance will be conducted for the selected candidate.
