In order to work as a contractor, you typically need to have an individual entrepreneurship, limited liability company or invoice via a co-operative using a service for light entrepreneurship.When you accept the project, we will sign a time and materials based subcontracting agreement between Toughbyte and your legal entity before you start work. We provide all the necessary help with arranging interviews and negotiations between you and the client, and will also going be the ones to send the invoices for your work.
Description
The end client is looking for a Database Testing Contractor to join the Data Engineer & Mapping Team. Daily tasks include writing SQLs that transform data from multiple tables and schemas and comparing the output to development results. The contractor will cooperate with developers, analysts, and the business to understand the proper transformation process to create testing SQLs. Management of the Test environment is also required, which includes recreating the database from a GIT repository, putting proper scripts on a UNIX server, running DataStage jobs to run the migration process, committing test case changes into the GIT repository, and managing them in Qtest. The contractor is responsible for reporting bugs in JIRA and taking ownership of delivering a proper solution for them. Skills in SQL/Oracle, Testing, Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) process and tools, experience in Agile ways of working, and proficiency in JIRA, Qtest, and GIT repository are essential. The candidate should be proactive, capable of working effectively in a team environment, sharing knowledge and skills, and developing productive working relationships.
