Please note that the project described below is a contractor role where work is usually done on an hourly basis. The duration of the project is also fixed. In order to work as a contractor, you typically need to have an individual entrepreneurship, limited liability company or invoice via a co-operative using a service for light entrepreneurship.

When you accept the project, we will sign a time and materials based subcontracting agreement between Toughbyte and your legal entity before you start work. We provide all the necessary help with arranging interviews and negotiations between you and the client, and will also going be the ones to send the invoices for your work.
The end client is developing a national information system service, known as the Patient Information Archive, which serves as a repository for electronic patient records generated in healthcare. This essential service ensures the secure storage of records, facilitating easy access for healthcare professionals. It consolidates all patient care information into a centralized location, providing healthcare professionals with up-to-date access to support patient treatment. 

Now the client is seeking a highly skilled Contractor with a strong background in Java, extensive experience with the Documentum document management system, and a thorough understanding of the CDA R2 document standard. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in application development, including a minimum of 10 years in the recent past focusing on the technical design and implementation of applications, software components, and interfaces using Java technologies. Proficiency in Finnish, both spoken and written, is required for this position.
