Our client is a boutique investment management and advisory firm based in London (with an additional presence in Helsinki) specializing in fixed income and relative value strategies. It focuses on market-neutral and data-driven approaches to generate returns independent of broad market movements.
Description
Now the company is looking for a Senior/Lead UI Developer to join them onsite and work on developing a trader toolbox.
Tasks:
Tasks:
- Develop and expand an internal UI enabling traders to create and visualize metrics and backtest ideas over historical data
- Work directly with internal end-users, the quant team, and the trading team to build a flexible tool for analyzing market data and metrics
- Rapidly create new features through fast iteration and prototyping
- Participate in architectural discussions to ensure highly scalable and performant systems
- Support production systems and contribute to weekly releases as part of the technology team
Must-have:
- Experience building UIs for trading analytics or related applications
- Experience with MS Windows UI frameworks (e.g., Win32, WinForms, WPF, Qt)
- Experience in C#, or a strong background in Java or C++
- Ability to understand the business context and develop solutions supporting trading functions
- Hands-on, pragmatic approach to software development and good software development practices
- Strong background in computer science
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with web UI frameworks (e.g., Blazor Hybrid, Blazor)
- Previous exposure to fixed-income markets (bonds, swaps, interest rate futures, FX)
- Use of Python for quantitative finance tasks or interop with C#
- Experience using or familiarity with tools such as Quantower, NinjaTrader, Motivewave, Tradovate, Wavebasis, MetaTrader, Webull, or LSEG Workspace
