Node Developer

Tasks:
  • Design and develop back-end services for planning and tracking different capacities and their utilization in the network
  • Contribute to the full development cycle from solution planning and design to development, deployment, service delivery and operations
  • Collaborate with other engineers, engineering teams and product managers
Must-have:
  • You are familiar with multiple programming languages, you know software patterns and paradigms, and are willing to use the ones that the team prefers
  • Strong previous experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js
  • You are experienced in specifying and developing microservices, REST APIs (OpenAPI), and running software in cloud platforms (ideally AWS, but GCP or Azure would also work)
  • Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL
  • Advanced English
Nice-to-have:
  • Kubernetes knowledge is a plus

  2. There might be a quick call with HR (but now they mostly skip it)
  3. Codility test 
  4. Hiring Manager runs the first tech interview (45-60 mins)
  5. 4 hours-long final round with 4 separate interviews: coding exercise, system design exercise, general technical knowledge interview, culture fit interview
Unfortunately, no. You will be able to start working only when you are based in Helsinki. During COVID it's possible to work partly remotely, but the company is not planning to move to the fully-remote mode in the foreseeable future.
