Project Manager Contractor

Please note that the project described below is a contractor role where work is usually done on an hourly basis. The duration of the project is also fixed. In order to work as a contractor, you typically need to have an individual entrepreneurship, limited liability company or invoice via a co-operative using a service for light entrepreneurship.

When you accept the project, we will sign a time and materials based subcontracting agreement between Toughbyte and your legal entity before you start work. We provide all the necessary help with arranging interviews and negotiations between you and the client, and will also going be the ones to send the invoices for your work.
The end client is looking for a Project Manager to oversee the coordination and advancement of the security management reform for corporate customers in the Baltics. This role encompasses system development, business work, and change management. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for advancing these aspects, including planning and scheduling the overall project, organizing the work, coordinating business requirements with the Baltic organization, ensuring the progress of tasks, managing risks and dependencies, and collaborating with teams involved in the implementation. 

The ideal candidate should have experience managing challenging development projects or programs, preferably in the financial sector, and be skilled in managing projects that include both business and system development tasks. Proficiency in Finnish and English, strong risk, dependency, and stakeholder management skills, high stress tolerance, experience in highly regulated environments, experience in creating and tracking project/work plans involving multiple teams and dependencies, knowledge of agile methodologies, Confluence and Jira expertise, and a background in banking are required. Understanding and expertise in collateral management will be an advantage. Good communication and collaboration skills, both verbally and in writing, are essential. A security clearance will be conducted for the selected individual.
