Test Automation Contractor

Please note that the project described below is a contractor role where work is usually done on an hourly basis. The duration of the project is also fixed. In order to work as a contractor, you typically need to have an individual entrepreneurship, limited liability company or invoice via a co-operative using a service for light entrepreneurship.

When you accept the project, we will sign a time and materials based subcontracting agreement between Toughbyte and your legal entity before you start work. We provide all the necessary help with arranging interviews and negotiations between you and the client, and will also going be the ones to send the invoices for your work.
The end client, a banking firm, is seeking a Senior Test Automation Contractor to start in April. The contractor will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated test scripts for end-to-end test scenarios, testing integrations between multiple client and vendor systems, proactively seeking continuous improvements to test coverage, execution, and automation, and supporting and coaching other team members in testing and automation. The contractor will need full-stack test automation experience, including frontend (GUI, mobile), middleware (API/web services), and backend (databases), as well as experience with Python and Java-based test automation frameworks. The contractor will also need experience executing test automation across different environments and test levels, and knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and/or SAFe, the software development and maintenance lifecycle (SDLC), and test automation methodology & industry best practices (TDD, BDD, Page Object Model, etc.), along with CI/CD tool experience (Bamboo, Jenkins, etc.).
