Our client is one of the largest game studios in Finland founded in 2000. They have created over 100 games for all major platforms, sold over 10M copies and had their mobile games downloaded over 120M times.

The company just kicked off a new project with a brand-new IP and also started co-development projects with other partner studios (most information is under NDA). These new projects need more hands-on-deck and that's why they are looking for a Graphics Programmers. You will design and implement systems for the rendering engine to help the game development team to carry out their visions to the game. You will have the opportunity to work with the company's in-house engines, which are industry-leading tools capable of creating some of the most advanced content ever seen in video games. 

Requirements

Must have skills:

  • 5+ years of experience with Computer graphics 
  • Senior candidates must have rendering experience in delivering a high-quality game (preferably PC/Console) from conception to market
  • Has experience writing shaders in HLSL or GLSL
  • Has strong background in C/C++
  • Has strong math skills
  • Has solid debugging skills including the ability to debug at an assembly-level when necessary
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication English skills 

Good to have skills:

  • Open source code samples
  • Experience from AAA projects
  • Understanding the visual aspects of computer graphics (PBR materials, lighting, and animation)
  • Experience in multiple graphics APIs
  • Studies in Computer Science or other relevant fields
