nami.ai is looking for an experienced Firmware Team Lead to help drive a future of DIY home security.
Tasks:
Tasks:
- Lead the development of embedded software applications with a focus on reliability and security
- Work closely with backend and mobile teams to architect the system and the solutions
- Contribute to the roadmap definition and give feedback to product owners
- Build and manage the team of embedded engineers
- Refactor and reduce bug count to zero
Must-have:
- Seasoned in Firmware and Embedded Development with at least of 5 years of relevant experience
- Striving to write correct and efficient C / C++
- Knowledgeable about embedded development with RTOS and Espressif's SDK
- Experienced in building and delivering IoT consumer products
- Having proven record of building and managing teams of embedded engineers
- Passionate about producing high quality products
- A team player who knows how to have fun
- Able to communicate effectively in English (both written and verbal)
Nice-to-have:
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Have an eye towards the future of IoT, home security and home automation
- Interested in software architecture and design patterns
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Experience with automated unit testing
