Description
Currently, we're looking for an Engineering Manager who will join the company on a mission to provide their customers with the most elevated online fashion experience, offering unlimited access to free premium delivery and returns pick-ups, personal style advice, premium customer care service and exclusive offers.
Must have:
- A strong and self-driven Leader who has a very good understanding of technical landscapes and has been leading a team of at least 6 engineers for at least 2 years
- You are comfortable working in a greenfield product team, helping distil customer problems into meaningful actions - be that contributing to other teams codebase and features, or working through uncertainty into delivering customer impact
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer (Frontend/ Full-stack technologies)
- Hands-on experience with Java, API design, Event-Driven Architecture
- Hands-on experience with SQL, In-Memory or NoSQL (ElasticSearch) Databases and Microservices in Cloud data centres (distributed systems, AWS, Google Cloud or Azure)
- Very good communication skills with experience working in the diverse internal customer environment, building customer-facing applications and experiences
- Effective communication skills in English
