Description
Tasks:
- Lead, mentor, and grow the engineering team to build a world-class SaaS platform
- Drive the engineering strategy and influence product planning to achieve business goals, by understanding Made2Flow's value proposition and its product vision
- Be the technical thought leader on product architecture and develop a strategy where our engineering team should be in one to two years from now
- Ensure that the Engineering team operates effectively and efficiently while delivering a scalable and reliable platform
- Plan and execute a hiring strategy and scale the engineering team
- Communicate your ideas, feedback, and challenges to the leadership team, highlighting potential risks and opportunities
- Code (Hands-on)
Must-have:
- 3+ years experience leading a team of 4+ engineers
- Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React.js, Redux, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes on AWS
- Experience working with remote teams, and direct responsibility for goal setting, performance measurement, and hiring/firing decisions
- Proficient understanding and deep knowledge of architectural & infrastructure patterns and agile methodologies
- Technical expertise in software development, software architecture, quality assurance, cloud infrastructure, and automated deployments
- Exceptional people and communication skills with a high degree of empathy
- Strategic thinking, with the ability to set and achieve business goals based on measurable objectives
Nice-to-have:
- Expert knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm
- Experience working in a growing software company that scaled its team under your leadership
- Experience in SaaS businesses
