You will be responsible for supporting the QA team and creating the automation strategy for the project. Being a young studio, your work will have a significant impact on the final performance and quality of all Savage projects. Working closely with other departments your work will help set Savage’s games apart from the rest of the mobile action games on the market.

Tasks:
  • Being the champion of QA best practices at every step of development
  • Developing automation strategy for the project
  • Happy to mentor and support the dev team in creating their own automation tests
  • Comfortable with automation test suite ownership 
  • Manual testing of new features 
  • Creating issue reports and maintenance of the issue backlog
  • Working closely with the core tech team on CI
  • Helping the QA lead with release management
Must-have:
  • Experience creating automated test frameworks
  • Experience with CI systems such as Jenkins
  • Familiarity with version control systems, especially Perforce
  • Mobile device testing experience
  • Happy to help with manual testing, hands-on the build approach
  • Excellent English communication skills - ability to describe identified issues in a clear and concise manner
  • Min 2 years of experience in the gaming industry and passion for games
Nice-to-have:
  • C++ coding experience
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine 4
  • Experience using Unreal testing tools, such as Unreal Profiler
  • Bash or Powershell scripting experience
