Product Owner

Webgears is an international company, operating e-commerce Portals that provide access to vouchers and deals. These portals connect online shops and users all over the world with the goal of providing an exceptional shopping experience.
Currently, the company is looking  for a motivated Product Owner to strengthen the team
Tasks:
  • Responsibility for the implementation of new projects and features. 
  • Collaborating with a motivated team of software developers across Europe and translating ideas and wishes of all stakeholders and users into the technical world.
  • Making decisions on deployment dates, range of functions, and development costs throughout the product life cycle. 
  • Ensuring to take a company to the next level by executing new projects and delight millions of users with new features.
  • Reporting directly to VP of Product and Innovation.
Must-have:
  • 3+  years of professional experience in a similar position
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Outstanding understanding of products and users
  • Knowledge of usability and user experience
  • Experience with Scrum/Kanban and distributed remote teams
  • Excellent communication skills, handling of conflicts, and assertiveness
  • Experience in working with tools like Jira, Trello are an advantage
  • Organized working style, analytical thinking, and understanding of general contexts
  • Fluent English
Nice-to-have:
  • Completed education in a technical field or university degree with a technical background
