Webgears is an international company, operating e-commerce Portals that provide access to vouchers and deals. These portals connect online shops and users all over the world with the goal of providing an exceptional shopping experience.
Tasks: 
  • Planning and implementation of new frontend application using React
  • Conception and design of user-friendly and appealing user interfaces
  • Improvement of the user experience through continuous A/B Testing
  • Quality assurance through manual and automated tests as well as conduction of code reviews
  • Take part in the technical planning
  • Implementation of basic backend endpoints
Must-have skills:
  • 3+ years of experience as Frontend Developer
  • Experience with HTML5 for mobile and desktop applications
  • Experience with  React 
Nice-to-have skills:
  • Good knowledge of technical search engine optimization and performance improvements (e.g. optimizing for Google Pagespeed/Lighthouse Rankings, Schema.org microdata)
  • Knowledge in Progressive Web Apps (PWA), Sass / Compass or Less and PHP frameworks is desirable
  • Good knowledge of automated units and functional testing, CI, CD
  • Experience in working with Sketch, Invision & Zeplin is an advantage
