Technical Support Engineer

Tasks:
  • Provide technical service-related after-sales support to the customers for all our products and services, mainly in network and system-related issues
  • Monitor the smooth operation of Navarino products
  • 1st, 2nd, 3d level tech support
Must-have:
  • Four-year degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent
  • Good understanding of networking products and technology such as routing and switching
  • Linux basic user knowledge
  • Native German speaker
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
Nice-to-have:
  • Good understanding of OSI Layer, TCP/IP networking, and firewall
  • Experience in satellite communications (Inmarsat, VSAT, Iridium)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Two-year experience in customer support
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
  • MCSA Windows Server (or MTA: Windows Server Administration Fundamentals)
