Senior Python Developer

Munich, Germany
Entrix provides an AI-enabled optimization and fully automated trading platform for grid-scale battery storage. Figuring out how storage provides the best value to the electricity grid and the highest returns to asset owners is how we accelerate the transition to a clean energy future.
Tasks:
  • Build the optimization platform end-to-end: across dimensions such as data ingestion and processing, optimization logic implementation, battery control, automated power trading
  • Implementation of optimization and trading algorithms: focus on both go-live and long-term advancements of the platform
  • Maintain and improve the tech stack: develop environments and build infrastructure, from how services are developed and tested, to how they are built, integrated, and monitored
  • Cross-functional work closely with other teams and especially with data scientists
  • Mentoring, coordination of engineers and data scientists, as well as onboarding the newcomers
Must-have:
  • 7+ years experience in Backend Development 
  • 2-3 years experience with Python including object-oriented design 
  • Experience in building backend solutions using Python
  • 2+ years experience in onboarding, mentoring, and coaching colleagues in Junior and Middle positions
  • Experience working cross-functionally, especially with Product and Data Science teams
  • Team player with the ability to work on solutions individually
  • Fluency in English
Nice-to-have:
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud platform, and services like Lambda, DynamoDb, ApiGW, or other public clouds
  • Energy industry experience
