Pexip is a high load video conferencing platform. Earlier this year they reached a million minutes of video conferencing going through its platform every hour. That's video and audio being decoded, mixed and encoded in real-time on more than 4,000 virtual machines all around the world.
Tasks:
  • delivering Pexip's best-in-class video interoperability solution for Microsoft Teams
  • dealing with an extraordinarily wide range of challenges across the stack - from optimizations and quality improvements deep within the media engine to high-level architecture and scaling within Microsoft Azure
Must-have:
  • Strong C#
  • Experience with systems programming 
  • Excellent debugging skills 
  • Experience with complex systems
  • Network programming
  • Willingness to work on Windows 
  • Expertise in profiling and optimisation
  • Familiarity with common performance patterns and anti-patterns in distributed systems
  • Major cloud platforms and technologies (preferably Azure)
  • Deep understanding of .NET internals (MSIL, CLR, etc...)
  • Deep understanding of Windows internals
  • Good communication skills in English
