Now Plaace is looking for experienced developers to join their team in Oslo:
Tasks:
Tasks:
- Work in a cross-functional product team to develop the Plaace platform, from understanding user needs to shipping and maintaining elegant code
- Deliver great and consistent customer value by developing and maintaining software solutions and functionality
- Experience in working as a backend, frontend, or a full-stack engineer, either as an expert, or contributing broadly to the whole product
- Confidence in developing product and choosing the tools and technologies to work with
- Take ownership of technical challenges and strongly influence how they are solved
- Applying experience to improve how the company works, whether that is clean code, CI/CD, unit testing, code reviews, design system, agile principles, or other topics you are passionate about
Must-have:
- Solid experience in multidisciplinary product teams
- Experience in leading a team
- Solid experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
- Ability to look for ways to learn new things and improve your skill set, and bring that back to the team and product
- Experience with several aspects of the software development cycle, like prototyping ideas, architecture definition, design system, scoping, documentation, delivery at scale, maintenance, build processes, testing routines, etc
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline with strong academic results, alternatively high relevant work experience
- Collaborating with team members from other fields of expertise, strong motivation to make an incredible product together
- Advanced level of English
- A self-driven and motivated person
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Python, Docker, PostgreSQL with PostGIS, and AWS/Google cloud
