As a privately-owned studio, Snowcastle is proud to build games for its own Earthlock IP and believes that to build great games, you need to build a great team.
Now the company is looking for a Graphics Developer. You'll work on Earthlock 2, a 3D survival RPG set in the Earthlock universe. The game is a single and multiplayer co-op experience and is in development for PC and next-generation consoles

Tasks:
  • Collaborate with other departments to imagine and develop solutions that improve the graphics in the game
  • Develop shaders in Unreal Engine 5
  • Optimize graphics in the game to meet target specs and performance
  • Take ownership and continue improving existing graphics tools and solutions
  • Keep code documentation up-to-date and accurate to facilitate knowledge transfer and collaboration
  • Assist junior programmers and artists with technical issues and problem-solving graphics challenges in the game
Must-have:
  • At least 1 year of experience working with Unreal Engine
  • Proficiency in C++ programming and shader programming
  • Good understanding of the rendering pipeline
  • Basic 3D modeling and uv mapping skills
  • Good knowledge of technical workings and constraints of consoles and PCs
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude with a desire to learn and grow
Nice-to-have:
  • Experience working as a graphics artist, or with graphics tools like Photoshop, Maya, Substance or similar. 
  • Experience developing tools for artists and/or designers
