Remote Unreal Developer

Tasks:
  • You'll work on Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure. The game is a single and multiplayer co-op experience, and is in development for PC and next-generation consoles
  • You'll be involved in the production of Earthlock 2, a 3D survival RPG set in the Earthlock universe
Must-have:
  • BS – MS in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of overall similar experience in addition to minimum 1+ years of professional experience working with Unreal Engine 4
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working remotely
  • Strong general programming skills with a willingness to contribute in many areas
  • Experience working in a dev team or have shipped a title 
  • Comfortable working within an established code base and conforming to existing code standards and best practices
  • Working knowledge of 3d Math/trigonometry
  • Passion for computer games
  • Strong communication skills in English
Nice-to-have:
  • Experience developing for consoles (Xbox One/Series X, PS4/PS5 and Switch)
  • Experience with Unreal’s Gameplay Ability System
  • Experience with Unreal’s behaviour trees
  • Experience with character locomotion through Unreal’s animation blueprints
