They are now looking for an awesome Backend Engineer to be part of the Engineering team and help them with their multi-site platform while being an operational enabler for the rest of the organization.

Tasks:
  • Create and deliver detailed technical documentation and presentations
  • Produce clean and efficient code based on specifications
  • Address performance issues
  • Contribute to the security of our systems
  • Contribute to recruitment activities
  • Provide technical guidance and hands-on experience in software development
  • Specify, evaluate and approve design and implementation
  • Backend and frontend-based applications development
  • Work as part of a team with other engineers to build and deliver features
  • Develop/Integrate with clients and service APIs for partners and our own applications
  • Contribute to designing the architecture of our Frontend/Backend systems
  • Participate in code reviews, identify and apply best practices for software development
  • Create and deliver detailed technical documentation
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
  • Prepare accurate implementation task lists/time estimates and deliver assignments
    based on requirements
Must-have:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer including Ruby and Rails technology stack
  • Experience with clean code principles
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, and a delivery process based on pull-requests
  • Experience with test-driven software design
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and deployment processes
  • Ability to learn new languages and technologies
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Team player
  • Usually BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
