Salesforce Developer

Founded in 2019, Volkswagen Digital Solutions (VWDS) plays a major role in the Volkswagen Group strategy of going digital, by developing software mainly for the digital ecosystems and internal corporate processes.
Split across 3 tech units: CODE (Core Operations + Development), MAN Digital Hub and SDC (Software Development Center), VWDS plays a key part of the digitalization strategy that is happening in the Group.
Tasks:
  • Build Salesforce applications and leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform
  • According to your experience, you will contribute to the growth of the team (e.g. mentoring, delivery, quality, …)
  • Perform the operations in a DevOps model
  • Carrying out general application development activities including component tests, provision of codes for the development environment and technical documentation
  • Self-contained further education in the mentioned subject areas as well as assistance with cross and upskilling measures in the team
Must-have:
  • 4+ years of salesforce platform development experience
  • Willingness  to move to Portugal
  • Agile mindset (respect, collaboration, improvement and learning cycles, pride in ownership, focus on delivering value, and the ability to adapt to change etc.
  • Fluent English
  • Bachelor's degree in IT and/or comparable job expertise
  • Experience in using CI/CD tools like GitLab, Copado beneficial
  • Experience in using project management and collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence
  • Willingness to work in an agile setup, to think outside the box and to help overcome roadblocks
  • Ability to solve problems in a creative way with a high awareness for quality;
  • Result-oriented and communicative team player
