Description
Right now, they are seeking an Engineering Product Manager who will:
- Set the long-term vision and strategy for our products
- Communicate product strategy to relevant participants and stakeholders
- Design, wireframe and detail workflows to precisely describe user experience
- Promote and continuously improve on best practices in user interface and interaction design
- Plan and execute user studies, surveys and other feedback mechanisms
- Manage product from concept to design, production, test, forecast, cost, promotion, and support
- Support growth objectives including market share, revenue, profit, and return on investment
- Manage and implement marketing activities with research, strategic planning, and implementation
- Write and maintain code regularly
- Attract, recruit and retain top engineering and scientific talent
Must-have skills:
- Experience building complex software outside of frameworks or existing infrastructure
- Ability to learn and evaluate new technologies quickly
- Experience with backend and frontend technologies (e.g. Python/Java/C++, Javascript/TypeScript/Nodejs/React)
- Experience with teams in an Agile/DevOps CI/CD environment
- Basic working knowledge of dev-ops practices to automate workflows
- Minimum 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
Nice-to-have skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science/engineering, mathematics, physics, or other related technical fields with equivalent practical experience
- Experience with machine learning
