Description
Tasks:
- Lead the infrastructure and engineering team, implementing and optimizing ML model-serving architectures
- Oversee the orchestration of ML pipelines and inference workflows
- Drive agile methodologies, such as Scrum, ensuring team alignment and productivity
- Collaborate with DevOps and Data Engineers to optimize infrastructure, streamline data pipelines, and enhance performance and scalability
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and supporting their professional development
Must-have:
- 5+ years of experience as a ML engineer / data engineer
- Extensive experience in MLOps best practices particularly with MLflow
- Demonstrated ability in managing and leading complex technical teams using agile methodologies (Scrum or equivalent)
- Proven expertise with cloud environments including Azure (preferred) and/or AWS
- Strong knowledge of orchestration frameworks (Dagster, Airflow, Prefect)
- Solid understanding of cost optimization and resource management in cloud environments
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
- Familiarity with Databricks environment optimization and integration
Nice-to-have:
- Understanding of Kubernetes-based ML orchestration
- Relevant professional certifications in cloud or ML technologies
