Description
Now the company is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team remotely or onsite in Tallinn or Rome
Tasks:
Tasks:
- Write, test and maintain Terraform modules for Azure resources (AKS, Databricks workspaces, VNETs, storage, networking)
- Provision, secure and tune clusters; optimize Delta Lake tables and notebook jobs; minimize data‐egress costs
- Deploy and operate AKS clusters for batch and model‐serving workloads; configure autoscaling, CNI networking and private endpoints
- Embed MLflow into CI/CD: track experiments, package models, and automate deployments in collaboration with MLOps Engineer
- Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and Argo CD workflows for infra, services and ML models
- Define SLOs/SLA; instrument with Prometheus/Grafana/OpenTelemetry; share cost‐optimization duties (tagging, rightsizing, chargeback)
- Partner across backend, frontend, product and data teams to tackle diverse technical challenges
- Leverage your prior experience to shape the company's decision‐making and codify proven practices
Must-have:
- 5+ years in hands‐on DevOps roles, with a track record of championing best practices and driving detailed design and code reviews
- Experience with Terraform (modules, workspaces, remote state, drift detection (all Azure), Azure Databricks (workspace ops, Delta Lake optimization, job orchestration, data ops), Kubernetes (AKS) (cluster setup, autoscaling, CNI & network policies, private VNETs)
- Experience with CI/CD and GitOps: Azure DevOps pipelines, Argo CD or equivalent
- Experience with Python and Bash for scripting and automation
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry for metrics and alerting
- Security and Compliance: policy‐as‐code (OPA/Kyverno), ISO 27001 guardrails
Nice-to-have:
- FinOps tooling: Azure Cost Management, charge‐back implementations
- Certifications: CKA/CKAD, Terraform Associate, Databricks Data Engineer, Azure DevOps
