Description
Tasks:
- Define team structure, roles, and budget to support business goals and maintain efficiency
- Lead GIS talent acquisition, onboarding, and team development in collaboration with HR
- Manage and grow a high-performing remote-first team with clear goals, expectations, and performance tracking
- Resolve conflicts, foster collaboration, and ensure ongoing professional development
- Oversee GIS workflows to ensure data quality and SLA compliance
- Identify and address workflow gaps using analytics and cross-functional collaboration
- Report on KPIs and align with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams for smooth delivery
Must-have:
- Software knowledge: GIS (QGIS, ArcGIS etc), AutoCAD, any photogrammetric software (Photoscan, Pix4D, Photomod etc)
- English language skills: C1-C2 (Fluent)
- Experience working with spatial data in GIS, knowledge of global and local coordinate systems
- 5+ years of experience in a managerial position
- Proven ability to manage, restructure and grow teams during periods of transformation or relocation
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and cross-functional collaboration
