DevOps Engineer

Tasks:
  • Maintaining the company’s production and development cloud environments, including Kubernetes clusters, data services, and 3rd party integrations
  • Improving CI/CD pipelines and closely working with the development teams to increase the delivery speed
  • Ensuring fulfillment of SLAs for all of the team’s services
  • Introducing new technologies and enhancing the infrastructure security
Must-have:
  • At least one year of experience in managing Kubernetes in cloud production environments
  • Deploying, scaling, and administering Kubernetes clusters and microservices
  • Good programming skills (Python, C#, Java, Go or others)
  • Experience administering cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS)
  • Good networking knowledge
  • Being confident with deploying infrastructure changes with configuration management (ideally Pulumi, Terraform or others)
  • Experience with Docker and Helm templates
  • Experience with Reverse and Forward proxies and Ingress Controllers (Nginx, Traefik, Istio, Squid or others)
  • Administrating various database/stateful/messaging systems such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ and CockroachDB
  • Creating and maintaining CI/CD workflows such as Jenkins and Github actions
  • Good level of spoken and written English
Nice-to-have:
  • Experience with Cloudflare, WAFs, and other CDNs
  • Experience with Kubernetes Service Mesh and API Gateways
  • Network administration experience
  • Database administration experience
  • Linux system administration
