Lead Unity Developer

The Breach Studios is a video game developer & publisher based in Barcelona and formed by a dynamic group of game industry veterans with a past in some of the greatest titles on diverse platforms. They are working on several game projects with different target platforms and at different scales. Their main objective is to push the boundaries of already established genres with new and innovative ideas that provide genuine and exciting experiences.
Right now the company is looking for an experienced developer who will take on the tech lead role. You will be an essential part of the development of the project, and you will work with developers and product managers, and have the responsibility for writing high-quality code and actively participate in its reviewing. 
 
Tasks:
  • Defining the architecture and high-level tech design of the game (front-back), doing code review
  • Setting a vision for how technology will be used in the company
  • Ensuring that technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs
  • Creating timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services
  • Acting as a mentor to team members
  • Overseeing the development and dissemination of technology for external customers, vendors, and other clients
Must-have:
  • 6-7+ years of experience as a Unity programmer
  • Managerial experience (ideally 5+ years)
  • Proven experience programming for Unity in C#
  • Knowledge of software architecture
  • Strong knowledge of client-server environments
  • Master’s degree in computer science or related field
  • Advanced technological skillset and a demonstrated history with technology
  • Experience working in Agile and SCRUM methodologies
Nice-to-have:
  • Experience programming Free to Play games
  • Experience programming 2D-3D user interface
  • Comfortable with learning new programming languages, tools, and technologies
