Frontend Team Lead

MiLaboratories is a leading software platform for immune repertoire profiling. Their software is used in vaccine, cancer, antibodies, and autoimmune diseases drug development pipelines. The company provides a secure, scalable, and fast solution that helps thousands of researchers around the globe to discover new drugs and therapies.
Now Milaboratories is looking for a Frontend Team Lead. 

Tasks:
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of frontend developers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including bioinformatics developers, backend developers, DevOps and product managers
  • Facilitate communication between the frontend team and external bioinformatics developers using our SDK, including documentation, conferences, and direct communication
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources, ensuring milestones are met efficiently and effectively
  • Act as a liaison between the frontend team and other stakeholders to communicate project status, risks, and requirements effectively
  • Lead code reviews, maintain high coding standards, and introduce automated testing and quality assurance practices
Must-have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience as a Frontend Developer with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Excellent knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript languages
  • Strong expertise with Vue.js and other modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) as well as proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
  • Experience integrating frontend components with complex backend systems
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
  • Fluent English
Nice-to-have:
  • Experience with other programming languages (C++, Python, R, etc)
  • Experience in the bioinformatics field
